Still trying to figure it out

 Always Hope For The Best

Always Hope For The Best

Dont let go of hope.
Hope gives you the strength to keep going
when you feel like giving up.

Dont ever quit believing in yourself.
As long as you believe you can
you will have a reason for trying.

Dont let anyone hold your happiness in their hands;
hold it in yours,
so it will always be within your reach.

Dont measure success or failure
by material wealth,
but by how you feel;
our feelings determine
the riches of our lives

Dont let bad moments over come you;
be patient, and they will pass

Dont hesitate to reach out for help;
we all need it from time to time

Dont runaway from love
but towards love,
because it is our deepest joy

Dont wait for what you want to come to you
Go after it with all that you are,
Knowing that life will meet you half way.

Dont feel like you've lost
when plans and dreams fall short
of your hopes.

Anytime you learn something new about yourself or about life
you have progressed.

Dont do anything that takes away
from your self-respect
Feeling good about yourself
is essential to feeling good about life

Dont ever forget how to laugh
or be too proud to cry.
It is by doing both
that we live life to the fullest.

 The bed by the window

 These are the words to a favorite bluegrass song of mine. I will warn you now it is a real sad sad song but I really like it and when James King sings it wow I think it is a beautiful song.                 Bed By The Window Two old friends shared a room in a home for the elderly                  Confined to their beds their bodies giving way     Old Joe lay by the window and watched the day go by                   And Bill lived to hear him tell about the world outside They shared with each other the stories of their lives And relived all their memories and dreams of a better time Outside the leaves were changing, summer turned to fall And from the bed by the window old Joe described it all From, the bed by the window he'd tell how the children played The lovers in the park, the ducks out on the lake                     The little boy swept the sidewalk when the sun came up each day From the bed by the window he told it just that way On a cold winter morning in the light of the dawn The bed by the window was empty old Joe had passed and gone  They moved Bill by the window he couldn't hold back the tears He'd finally see the view outside after all these years From the bed by the window he couldn't see out at all  There was nothing out that window but an old brick wall              A new friend shares a room in a home for the elderly  Confined to his bed his body has given way             Now Bill lay by the window as the days go by         And his new friend left to hear him tell about the world outside From, the bed by the window he'd tell how the children played The lovers in the park, the ducks out on the lake The little boy swept the sidewalk when the sun came up each day From the bed by the window he told it just that way Two old friends shared a room in a home for the elderly Blueeys

 Comment Police

I am sad! For some time now I have known about a dirty little secret at blogstream. Some may ask what secret am I referring to? Well sit back and I’ll tell you a very interesting story about a certain group of people, I like to call the comment police. I call them the comment police because they watch every thing that goes on here on the stream and I do mean every thing. The comment police watch where you leave comments so they think they know who’s Blogs you are reading they also watch to see who leaves you comments on your Blog. The comment police even keep an eye on who’s Blogs you have marked on your favorite Blogs list. The comment police are a group of people that really have too much time on their hands and nothing better to do. They are pathetically sad when you really think about it.

The comment police keep a check on what Bloggers are writing about and if they do not like the subject or think it is morally wrong or just plain out don’t like it, well they will simply make your life a living hell. But they don’t come out and do it in the open oh no then every one would know them for the narrow minded mean spirited people that they truly are. What the comment police do is send you nasty little PM’s, spewing their hatred and ignorance. Have I got you attention yet this is all very real I heard about these nasty people from several Bloggers, I’m not making this up and there is still much more to be told.

The comment police come and visit you Blog acting all nice like they are your friends but heed my warning for the truth I speak they are not your friends. They pretend to be your friends all the while waiting and talking behind your back, plotting and planning and when they are ready you won’t know what hit you till it is to late. Some will think I’m crazy, there are no people on the stream who would do such things but others know full well from experience exactly what the comment police are capable of. I hope you never meet them but know this if you write Blog Posts the comment police do not like or you are friends with Bloggers the comment police do not like they will turn on you and try to make your life hell.

They never let up or give you a moment’s peace they keep chipping away until you can take no more and finally you give up and leave. I will not say their names I don’t know all of them anyhow and believe me they know who and what they are this select little group of Bloggers that I call the comment police. I will tell you this I will not give in and I will not hide if the comment police come calling I will post the PM's they send me with their names included for all to see.

When I joined Blogstream I was somewhat naive I really thought the stream was a place to write about what ever you wanted to. I thought you were to write about what you knew or simply things of interest to you. I thought the stream was a place anyone could come and all were welcome, after all if you do not like what a Blogger writes or you have a problem with what they believe in then you don’t have to read their posts. Please remember treat others with the respect you want to be treated with, and if you have nothing good to say about another Blogger then say nothing at all.

An'ye harm none, do what ye will.
