 AOL ERROR

Last night my computer went haywire, I started thinking maybe the devil had possessed it. My computer would not go to Blogstream. No matter what I tried, I kept being sent to AOL search page and told there was an error.

Error 400 'wwwblogstream...' Bad Request.
Try reloading the Web page
Retype the address in your browser
Check your computer's Internet connection.

I tried repeatedly doing every thing it said, my effort was futile the results were the same. I would not be stopping by Blogstream tonight.
I was thinking oh great soon I'll be having Blogstream withdrawals. There was nothing else to be done so I got into my bed pulled up the covers and went to sleep.

In the morning I looked over at my devil possessed computer wondering what would go wrong next, all the time hoping it would take me to Blogstream. I turned on my computer, and started the dial up connection. I heard the numbers being dialed, and soon I was connected. I went to my favorites clicking on Blogstream and like magic the login page appeared. At last I’d made it, I was back on the stream.

Wait! Something’s not right something looks different.
The print on my computer screen it was bigger, I thought hay I can read this.

Wow! I don’t have to copy, paste and enlarge to read what’s on the screen anymore, I thought that’s great! I had tried to change the print size on Internet Explorer before, but I never could get it right.
Some how my computer is working better than before, I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed.
Now if I can just figure out how to add pictures to my posts, maybe tomorrow.

 what is a waxworm

Galleria mellonella

Common name waxworms they are whitish yellow moth larvae. In nature the live in beehives eating the wax and honey, waxworms will kill out a beehive. Waxworms have silk like a silk worm, so the one's you buy for bait or to feed birds are treated so they do not have silk. Waxworms spins a cocoon like a butterfly and pupates into a moth when they are about 5 weeks old. Waxworms also called the Greater Wax Moth and Galleria mellonella.
Waxworms will eat wood they make holes in it. The moths live 11 days and only drink water do their thing and lay eggs. They laid eggs on wax paper fans for me the eggs are white and the size of small tip of a needle. When you raise them they eat dog food, honey and wood chips, and other like foods. Wood chips are filler to help keep the food mix moist. Dog food gives them nutrients and they want the sweat honey. You raise them in trays with screen lids while they are growing they produce heat, you need to keep an air conditioner on so it doesn’t get too hot even in the winter. Heat will kill them they do not tolerate heat well. The ideal temperature to grow them is 75 –78 degrees to get the eggs to hatch. After about 12 days the trays of growing waxworms need to be kept cooler 65 –68 degrees depending on how many worms in a tray. The best temperature to keep treated waxworms is around 58- 65 degrees. Most bait stores shorten their lives by keeping them to cold, but lower temps are for mealworms, nightcrawler and redworms. There is money in raising waxworms, you need to be a big worm farm most of the stuff you buy has to be bought in bulk. I raised 50,000 to 100,000 waxworms a week and that is considered small.
You pack waxworms in cups with lids; we packed ours 250 to a cup. You do not count them, you use a measuring cup and average it out put a line on it so you have 275 per cup. Waxworms spin silk and you put a cover over the screen lids to raise the tray temperature and the waxworms collect on the top of the lid so you can wipe them off. If they do not come to the top you have to pick them out and that is a nasty job full of silk spinning worms it is a mess. I am sure I’m forgetting something it’s late and it’s past my bedtime. If anyone has any questions just ask and I will try to answer them

 Captains Ride

I drove an old green 5-ton truck when I was stationed with 365th Transpiration Company. We had fun driving trainees around the base and range. We would race the old trucks on dirt roads out at the range. The range was about 60 acres of land the army did all kinds of training on. We would take empty trucks four-wheeling in the creeks and race up and down on the dirt roads. I had a group of captains I was to take them from the range back to the base. They had been training a few days and wanted to get out of the woods. 5-ton trucks have canvas on them and canvas on the back that can be shut. The back canvas was a pain to put up if it was closed shut. These captains wanted the canvas down they thought it would help keep dust out of the truck. The only thing it did was keep the dust in the truck and they would not believe me a lowly private. One of the first things I learned was you do not piss off your driver no matter what your rank. I gave those captains one hell of a ride; I hit every hole I could find on that dusty dirt road. There were 3 trucks and I made sure I was the truck in the middle more dust that way. I would speed up and swerve making the truck jump and dance all over the road. I could drive a standard shift very well but not that day, I had that truck jumping up and down on the road. Those poor captains had a bumpy dusty ride that day. When their ride came to an end they asked what the problem was. They said I was the worst diver they ever had. I looked at them smiled and said I’m a private and I’m still learning. They walked away mad and the other drivers and I walked away smiling. Now I had never done anything like that and I wasn’t one to get into trouble. So when I was reported on of course no one believed I had done such a thing. The guys put me up to that ride they never admitted though, I think they wanted to see what I would do. I knew I should not have been mean, but we had fun on that boring ride home.
